Endo-Update 2025

The Endocrinology Update 2025, organized by the Association of Physicians of Rajkot in collaboration with the Endocrinology Society of Rajkot, was held on 13th July 2025 at Hotel Imperial Palace, Rajkot. The event brought together physicians and specialists for a focused half-day academic session covering practical, real-world challenges in endocrinology. Topics ranged from PCOS across the lifespan, interpreting calcium-PTH dynamics, and visual endocrine clues in clinical practice, to evaluating hypoglycemia in non-diabetic patients, thyroid nodules, and sexual dysfunction in men. The program was designed to enhance day-to-day decision-making in both outpatient and hospital settings.

The update featured expert talks by Dr. Brij Teli, Dr. Kaushal Sheth, Dr. Pankaj Patel, Dr. Sagar Barasara, Dr. Krishna Mori, Dr. Harsh Durgia, Dr. Nilesh Detroja, Dr. Kunal Thakker, and Dr. Tapan Parekh. A special focus was given to often-overlooked conditions like primary hyperaldosteronism, adrenal incidentalomas, and osteoporosis. The quiz segment added a touch of interactive learning, and the event concluded with a networking lunch. With strong participation and support from Sun Pharma, this update reaffirmed Rajkot’s growing role in advancing physician education in the field of endocrinology.
